After the original dods admin team of Clanbase heard Clanbase was no longer interested in providing an Open Cup for dods, they decided to leave the ClanBase community for ESL. After many requests, ClanBase decided to put dods back on the list of OpenCups, but without an admin team, it was the question whether there would actually be a proper season.
Only time could tell and atm we all know the dods section of ClanBase got back on track sooner than expected. New admins signed up and plenty of teams still seemed interested in giving the so popular league a chance. Also dli decided to put their name on the list as soon as there was a sign of a proper season coming up.
We've been put in the 3rd league, group C. it looks like this:

Here you will find coverage of the third AZO:CUP. The third event takes place on the 07/09/08 and will see some very skilled Day of Defeat Source players competing for the title. The last winners of the event where among! who beat SexyGamers to the title, the game was suprisenly very close last time round with among just winning on tickpoints, both teams had very strong axis rounds on dod_anzio. The final was viewed on SourceTV by quick a few DODS gamers last time and we hope to have more people watching this time.

This event will take place on Sunday August 31st beginning at 19:00 GMT. The event is straight elimination, featuring 16 teams.
We will be running a public server on the night for those who are knocked out to have a laugh on after. Details of this will be made available shortly.
